C'mon Roger. This is a Sarah Palin, I can see Russia from here,
argument. Unless you actually attend Saddleback church or are close to
people who do you can't claim intimate knowledge of the congregation.

You must know some weak ass lefties. Arizona lefties are made of
sterner stuff.

It's not really the liberal or the progressive community that's up in
arms. It's the gay community. And Obama has a history of 'palling
around' with homophobic preachers. Remember Rev. James T. Meeks,
Reverend Donnie McClurkin and Reverend Hezekiah Walker? The gay
community denounced Obama for his association with them but he didn't
back down. Obama has had a very uncomfortable relationship with gays
and their supporters from the beginning. Obama's position on gay sex
seems to be that it may be a civil right but it is also a sin and he
doesn't hesitate to denounce it personally. That seems to be his
position on abortion as well. He opposes gay marriage and he has said
so since the beginning.

I think the only thing that's changed here is that the MSM have
decided to focus on the issue. Not one of the gay people I know was
under any illusion that they had Obama's approval.
