As a glider pilot we do the dead-stick landing (no engine) at every
flight, but we usually avoid landing on wtater, we rather do some
field landing.

Absolutely amazing.
It makes such a change from all the depressing crap in the world, to
see and hear about a man who through his sheer skill, experience, and
presence of mind, made such a difference to so many people, and their
families.
Plus the wisdom of the crowds, who responded quickly to an unreal
situation, got in there and got all those people out, with not a
single soul lost.
It is brilliant. Kinda chokes me up actually.
