Hello Jodie: You'll will think that I'm crazy but what if an OT were to interview your dad and maybe give him the COPM. It might be helpful for him and you to see his perceptions of his occupational deficits (if any)
One time as a class project, a student gave her dad the COPM. She later indicated that while it was insightful for them both, it was also awkward and probably not 100% accurate due to biases from both parties. Just an idea... What do you think!
