Thank you Laurent!

Yes, it is set there?

It is also set in ZZAuto.pm

This is quite frustrating!

Hi,

You probably already have a FQDN set under your configuration file :

$Self->{'FQDN'} = 'yourhost.example.com';

Did you check on Kernel/Config.pm configuration file please ?

Thank you!

The problem is that it doesn't save...

After making the change in sysconfig/framework/core/FQDN and then click
"Update" at the bottom of the page, the page then refreshes to have
"fc4" in the FQDN field and not what I changed to. Under the FQDN field
the default is my actual FQDN (DEFAULT: helpdesk.domainname.com)

The check-box on the left of the section is grey.

I have about 4 hours trying to fix this problem!

This is a OTRS 2.1.1 Virtual Appliance

The easiest way to change the FQDN, is to change it in SysConfig ->
Framework -> Core (without having to edit config files manually)
SysConfig is accessible via web interface, in the Admin Area.

Thanks!

The problem is that the change is not being saved and I dont know what
file is used to define "Core".

Any ideas?

<OTRS_CONFIG_FQDN> uses the FQDN that you set as the value of $Self->
{'FQDN'} in ~otrs/Kernel/Config.pm (or using SysConfig you can set it
under Framework -> Core).

What did you set exactly? And what do you get? Nothing, http:///?
