In MS-Outlook, or any one of a number of webmail clients, there's no
problem, so its not a structural issue with the email itself.

Advice, anyone?

We're not using OTRS Webmail, so I can't comment on this. If you feel this is a bug, you can file a bug report at <http://bugs.otrs.org/> and the devs will probably look at it (they don't seem to frequent this mailinglist). If you need commercial support see <http:// otrs.org/support/>.
