Hi all; my dad has an emac running 0s x 10.3.8
he also has a powermac 550/225. he wants to use diskettes (!) on teh new emac, so i bought a lacie usb diskette drive. problem. the new drive and emac will only recognise ibm formatted diskettes which he has acquired from other people (hes a retired academic) with mainly ms-word documents on them. there is no ethernet port on the powermac. is there a solution ? googling leads me to believe that the usb diskette drives or os x itself will only recognise later diskette formats and not 800k or dd diskettes. ideas ? damien __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
