Perhaps, perhaps not. Most of the time the company gave ideas on their
datasheets, and also using their own talents they've created some
dandy application notes.

However I now have the whole business talking to my Linux box via USB
and its using OWFS, namely the httpd service. It is behaving as
expected. However on the Win32 thing I expected to see the counters,
ah, count. And indeed that's what I saw there. Has anyone written an
application for OWFS which does that? My skills are rusty there.

I've also created an Ethereal trace of the whole business, and have it
available for those of you who want to replay it before trying
something out on their own. I should have a description perhaps photos
of the thing online in the next two to three days.

But now a description, picture an SN7437 Quad NAND buffer, and a
SN7470 AND-Gated J-K flip flop, and for a clock a TSL220 device. The
relay is that part of a Clare TS120 device. I have the F/F wired such
that one of its outputs is steering pulses into one gate, that gate is
talking to the relay. The relay is doing what you'd expect and causes
the counter to do its job.

However Paul for this release of OWFS namely 2.6p7 (with libow
version:2.6p7) everything works here.
