Hi Thomas,
Can you give us output of "lsmod | grep 2303"
And maybe try "modprobe pl2303" if your output is empty ...
regards,
Markus

Hello Paul
Thank you for your fast answer. I tried but without success. I think it
detects correctly the usb-serial adapter but not sure.
Apologize as I'm not an expert in linux module ...
I tried multiple combinations:
/opt/owfs/bin/owserver -d /dev/ttyUSB0
/opt/owfs/bin/owserver -d /dev/ttyUSB1
/opt/owfs/bin/owserver -d /dev/ttyUSB2 ...
results:
DEFAULT: ow_arg.c:(72) Cannot access device /dev/ttyUSB0
Here is my config:
results of dmesg:
[1251823.620000] usb 1-1.3: new full speed USB device using
orion-ehci and address 6
[1251823.730000] Got empty serial number. Generate serial number
from product.
[1251823.740000] usb 1-1.3: configuration #1 chosen from 1

I tried USB6 without success too.

The Hobby Board hub master 6 channel is really a slave -- DS2409
based /
family code 1F -- and thus doesn't appear on the command line.
The devces
will show up automatically in a directory listing.
The USB to serial conversion is done by the operating system,
and not seen
by owfs. Usually the serial port created has a name like
/dev/ttyUSB0 but
look at the output from the command 'dmesg' to see.
Thus, if it's a standard serial bus master:
/opt/owfs/bin/owserver -d /dev/ttyUSB0 -p 4304
The "-p 4304" is the default and not really needed.

Hello
If I want to use the master hub with a serial to USB
adapter, which
command should I use to launch owserver ?
