Hello Markus

I succeed finally to launch the correct modules for my serial-usb
adapter I think:

DiskStation211> lsmod | grep 2303
pl2303 14045 0
usbserial 27284 3 cp210x,pl2303,ftdi_sio
usbcore 118254 13
cp210x,pl2303,ftdi_sio,usbserial,snd_usb_audio,snd_usbmidi_lib,usbhid,usblp,usb_storage,xhci_hcd,ohci_hcd,ehci_hcd

when I plug mu serial-usb adapter in synology, I have:

[ 2234.110000] usb 1-1.3: new full speed USB device using orion-ehci and
address 7
[ 2234.220000] Got empty serial number. Generate serial number from product.
[ 2234.220000] usb 1-1.3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 2234.230000] pl2303 1-1.3:1.0: pl2303 converter detected
[ 2234.250000] usb 1-1.3: pl2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0

Then, here is what I do to launch owfs:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib:/opt/lib
/opt/bin/owserver -d /dev/ttyUSB0 -p 4304 &
sleep 1
/opt/bin/owfs -s 127.0.0.1:4304 -m /mnt/1-wire &

however, I receive an error message with owfs launch:

DEFAULT: owlib.c:(54) No valid 1-wire buses found

Then I launch owserver with debug info:

DiskStation211> owserver -d /dev/ttyUSB0 --error-level=9 --foreground
   DEBUG: ow_daemon.c:(166) main thread id = 1073868880

Library libavahi-client couldn't be loaded ??? don't know what does it
mean ?

Thank you

Thomas
