Hello Colin,

I use the hobbyboard 8 I/O card you mentioned, for 2 or 3 years now and it 
works 
perfectly. I drive my heating system and it runs very well. However for the  
boiler burner and water circulating pump I have added another relay, because 
maximum current of output relays of the board on inductive loads is quite low.
So if you are ready for wiring it's a good choice.
Owfs works fine with it.
