It's technically a 3.3 3A switching regulator, but it turns out you
can use it as a power amplifier, current source, ttl controlled
switch, pwm driver etc.

here's my hack to allow it to pwm 10W power leds (you need to open it
up, but I find that a blob of hotmelt glue will hold it together again):
