I've been really happy with the HTC Radar, having owned it for a few months
now. Definitely not the highest specced WP7.5 device around, but it suits
my needs and can be bought outright for a pretty reasonable price (I bought
mine through Expansys).

Front-facing camera on it is a nice novelty for a Windows Phone (and
possibly even useful now that Skype has been officially released!). 8Gb
(not expandable) on-board memory sounds a bit limiting by today's standards,
but it just means I have to be a bit selective about how much media I have
on it at any one time, and it's never really been a big issue for me.
Reliability has been excellent so far (touch wood), I think it has locked up
maybe once in the whole time I have owned it, and stuff 'just works' (once
you get used to the whole Metro experience and how to drive it fluently -
give yourself a week with it and you should be fine). It's fairly light,
screen is still nice and readable in direct sunlight, call quality is fine
(does anyone still use a smartphone to make phonecalls?). So yeah, depends
what you are looking for in a phone I guess - if a mid-range phone is not
out of the question then the Radar is definitely worth a look.
