Ah thanks, I'll inspect it detail later. At a glance it looks similar to what I was doing. However there is something a bit odd about the .sln registry entries, as it uses an OpenWithProgids subkey. I vaguely suspect that .sln is wired-up a bit differently than a lot of extensions. I'll let you know if I find the answer. *GK*
