Denise Wrote "> Why not CONTRACT midwives to give continuity of care to healthy women?" That is how we midwives in W.A. and the Community Midwifery Program worked before the P.I. insurance failure. The only problem with contracting, is that all contractors HAVE to have P.I. insurance. That is why we are now in an unsatisfactory salaried position. MM
