On 10/8/04 Jen Semple posted some great websites. the http://www.maternitywise.org/guide/ site is the Cochrane data base and is very balanced on VBAC & all other subjects. It is worth carrying a copy around and also sending a copy of the relevant chapter to those who say "a midwife is being irresponsible etc." We have to start fighting back in a rational way instead of throwing up our hands. This is not criticism of any of you, as I too have been banging my head against a brick wall for over 20 yrs. If evidence based practice is the buzz word, then lets use it against the very people who are scare-mongering. I also love the chapter on gestational diabetes, so sensible. Cheers, MM
