Hi Nigel,
When speaking with Nintex there line is not to replace InfoPath but offer a
alternative, and not use their product instead of InfoPath to get out of buying
enterprise licenses.
If you have used NW it is a similar interface to that, and integrates
seamlessly with their product, it is just as easy to use as NW as well and all
through the browser.
The things I like:
- Browser Based
- Different views based on device (iPad, BlackBerry, PC, iPhone, WP7,
Android)
- Integration with Nintex Live (anonymous forms via Nintex Cloud back
in to SharePoint).
- Easy to embed images/css/styling
The NF don't do much logic in the form i.e. like InfoPath Rules. However it
does have managed metadata support
We also had trouble creating a workflow start form that had a external item
picker, however this worked on the list form, so I think it needed the column
behind it to work.

Subject: Forms in SPS environments
Hi all
I was wondering what people use for forms in their SharePoint environments.
We're currently building ours in InfoPath, but I'm thinking we might need a
change in the near future. I know a while ago there was a question about Nintex
Forms and if anyone was using them, so I'd like to re-ask that same question.
Does anyone use Nintex Forms, and if so, how has your experience been with
using them? I guess for us it would be between using Nintex, or switching to
fully customized VS.Net based forms, so thought I'd get some opinions.
Nigel
Kind Regards,
