I downloaded the latest version of xerces C++ (2.6.0)
and was able to compile it.
I also downloaded the xercer perl (2.5.0), when I try
to build xerces perl I get following message:
# perl Makefile.PL
Using XERCES_LIB = /usr/local/lib
Using XERCES_INCLUDE = /usr/local/include
using config file:
/WorkInProgress/parsexml/xerces-c-src_2_6_0/src/xercesc/config.status

Found CXXFLAGS =
Found LDFLAGS =
Using Xerces-C version info from
/usr/local/include/xercesc/util/XercesVersion.hpp
*** Version Mismatch ***
You are attempt to build XML::Xerces-2.5.0-0 using
Xerces-C-2.6.0,
this will most likely fail, so I am aborting.
You must use Xerces-C-2.5.0
Is there a newer version of xerces perl?
Has anyone compiled xerces perl 2.5.0 which xerces C++
2.6.0?
