The bOP naming system was inspired by J2EE, or Java more
specifically.

BTW, bOP is not a distributed platform like J2EE, which I think P5EE
is attempting to emulate.  bOP is like Linux, a monolithic kernel with
a layered, modular interface.  There's an interesting discussion on
