I'm having some mixed feelings about Regcode experienced from the end-user
viewpoint. I just ordered something from PilotGear to see how the process
works, and maybe it's just the way PGHQ handles it, but I found the concept
confusing. PGHQ needs to improve the look and wording of the screens
between the point where you click "buy-it" to the point where you enter your
credit card number. Among other things, my browser didn't show where to
enter a couple of required items. There was just blank space that I had to
click around on until an insertion point showed up. Also, the explanation
of Regcode and how it works is going to be hard to convey to first time
users/buyers. It's a decent first attempt, but I think it needs work.
Maybe a link to a more complete explanation of the regcode process is all
that's needed.
