Thanks for the feedback. You are correct that we should be more explicit
with the future finders fee and we will try and fix that asap.

FYI, We plan on charging the developer who can just figure that into the
price of the development. At this time, we don't expect it to exceed $50 or
$100 per "completed contract" so it shouldn't have much of an impact on the
overall cost of the project. Also, any repeat business with that same
client would not fall under the somain of MobileCodes.com so the developer
would not be asked to pay the finders fee for repeat business by the same
client (new project, new releases, etc..).

Hopefully, developers will see that $50 or $100 will be well worth a contact
to a project that could easily gross into the thousands. Also, we will be
able to utilize that revenue to further promote the site and the Palm
developers' services. However, for now (and probably for at least a year)
it will remain free until the site can prove its value.

Also, developers will obviously have full control to "deactivate" their
profile at anytime if they do not wish to participate when a finders fee is
enacted.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

That sounds good. Prior opportunities posted usually required full time
work and relocation, and I'm making an educated guess that those
opportunities weren't popular with this group.

Still, I share Mike Davis' concerns about a "finders fee" for "completed
projects." "Completed projects" need to be clearly defined. Also, are the
finders fees imposed only on developers? Why not on the client? Or is it
on both groups? What happens on repeat business? You can have the same
client / new project, or same client / old project / new release.
