I don't know if this gives you any clues, but regardless of my current
system load (which I try to keep near zero), nothing allow the debugger
to connect more consistantly than exiting CodeWarrior and restarting
it. In some cases, I need to rebuild the project as well. When I do
this, I get perfect, instant connections for awhile... until the dreaded
"Connection Failed" occurs and crashes poor Poser. Then nothing can fix
the problem short of restarting Code Warrior.
Anotherwords, there is something in the state of Codewarrior that is
getting screwed up during a connection failure.
BTW - the latest version of the debugger seems about the same for
initial failure, but much MORE often than before fails during debugging
- in fact, with the current version, I nolonger even bother using F10 or
F11, since it loses connection after 3-5 of those.
I'm usnig WIndows 95 BTW...
Any advice would be useful.

P.S. -> I know this would take a LOT of programming, but since the PC
Emulator is so incredibly slow (I estimate it as maybe 5% the speed of a
Palm IIIc on my P166), would it be possible to make an "emulator direct"
native communication/debugging layer rather than using the emulated
serial connection? Even when the connection works, it still takes 8-15
seconds for a single instruction step over - barely usable. It's
actually faster debugging with my real Palm, although that's not safe.
