Piracy will never go away, so you just have to deal with it. Discussing
the motivations of Crackers doesn't really get anyone anywhere.
As a developer, you see things like this:
A) Paid copy
B) Cracked copy
In reality though, a cracker however, works like this:
A) Cracked copy
B) I won't use it
So, in effect, having a cracked copy floating around doesn't hurt you (no
lost revenue, they won't buy it anyway), and it might actually help you,
just by having another copy in use out there.
Of course, it has been a few months since a thread about piracy has shown
up, but it really should die now.
