Interesting approach - or should I say "lalplplrlolalclh"? :)
This won't work on Mac OS though. Both Palm OS and Mac OS share a 31
character limit, so we can't double the number of characters.
We'd like to allow multiple databases on the same device but with different
creator ID's. This would eliminate the need to append/prepend the creator ID
to the database name. The backup would then have folders for each creator
ID. These could be something like "AAAA-41414141". We might be able to get
away with requiring databases with the same creator ID to have distinct
case-insensitive names.
