Are you certain? Consider this scenario: User builds database on PDA. User faithfully Hotsyncs daily, using the Backup Conduit to back up the database to G4 Powerbook. User accidentally drops PDA into Pacific Ocean and buys spiffy new one. User does a "restore" Hotsync, using the Install Conduit to copy backup of database to spiffy new PDA. At this point your database is on the PDA, but it no longer has a SortInfo block. You'll need to rebuild it from scratch.
