PODS will co-exist on the same PC fine in a different directory. They have completely separate JREs and runtime information. I recommend to not install PODS on the top of any Eclipse or WSDD directory. While it may or may not work, it's not recommended or supported at this time. We've tested thoroughly with PODS on its own but not in the same directory as a pre-existing Eclipse. You can of course add third-party plugins to PODS through the Eclipse Update Manager after PODS is installed (if you want, for instance, Tetris ;-) ).
