Hi Gina.

disc-at-once means that the laser writes to the disc continuously during the
burn whereas track-at-once disengages the laser between tracks or files.

Disc-at-once should be used when copying an audio CD or compiling an audio
CD especially as it is the only way to use features such as CD-Text and the
like.

Track-at-once is fine for burning MP3 CD's as these are basically data CD's
where there is no issue with the laser disengaging between burning each file
to the disc.

When you burn a data CD with Nero, it automatically defaults to
track-at-once and this cannot be changed anyway.
