Nice to be back on the old list. Does anybody know if the iriver HD recorders/players are accessible please? My Understanding is that through the line-in, or the onboard mic the default file format is mp3. It would be nice to record straight to .wav, but mp3 will suffice given that the bit-rate can be set high enough to preserve as much of the original sound as possible. anyway, this might all be academic if the devices are not accessible by visually impaired folk.
