Russell, it turns out that this command was mentioned in a review of Nero Ultra 6 that I'd saved to disk as a text file just weeks ago, and reread last night to refresh my memory about access details. I don't recall hearing about it on this list, although you're right that this list is quite a good source of helpful information about audio programs and their interfaces.
