Russell,
it turns out that this command was mentioned in a review of Nero Ultra 6 
that I'd saved to disk as a text file just weeks ago, and reread last night 
to refresh my memory about access details.  I don't recall hearing about it 
on this list, although you're right that this list is quite a good source of 
helpful information about audio programs and their interfaces.

         I used to use roxio and there a similar command existed, control
t.  I don't remember where I picked up this tidbit, but it must have been
here on the list.
This list, along with a couple of others to which I subscribe, is a
treasure trove of great information!
