Hi Curtis, I have recorded the songs from my 56 minute tape, with sampling rate of 44,100, stereo and set it for 57 minutes, saved it as a wav file. Before splitting the file it is 1.4 gig. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. If the acceptable cd rate is 44,100 and regular cd players only play that rate in the wav format, how am I going to get it on the cd which is about 700 megs of storage? It almost seems like something is being doubled as far as space is concerned. I hav 24 tracks each taking between 20 and 25 megs of space, so even with silences and Q points, how am I getting 1.4 gigs? I sure would appreciate answers from anyone here.
TThanks for listening.
