High Bob, I happen to agree with you. A little more then 22 years ago, I bought a portable stereo that was AM stereo able. Down here in Lake City Florida, none of the stations were transmitting AM stereo signals. But when I left Florida and went to Georgia, this is when I was able to pick up AM stereo stations on that unit. That thing cost me a little more then $450. After going through that, I said to myself, "never again will I do that." I've got nothing against HD radio, I just don't thank it's ready for prime time. If I end up with an HD radio, it would be because someone gave it to me. But in the mean while, I will stick with what I have. Serious here at the house, XM at the office.
