To my knowledge The rebate program is only available in the United Snakes at 
this time, and for those boat anchors they are old TV's that are not worth 
repairing if they break down,and  for the repair shop they will charge at 
least a hundred bucks just to check it out. For the price of a check over 
you can buy a brand new set at Wall-Mart. .
