Hi all, I own both the zenstone and the zenstone plus which is the 1gig unit. I love them both, but the smaller zenstone which has the switch on top instead of the push bar is much better to work with. You do not need any software but as one other person mentioned, you only need to plug it into the usb port, charge it and that is it. You really dont need a manual but go to the blind geek web site and there you can listen to an audio file on the zenstone. I like the larger unit for space, but rather would own the less expensive and more useable one instead. Take care and that is what I know.... MMM Michael Thanks You...
