Hi Everyone. I just downloaded the latest version of easy CD-DA extractor. After installing it, I attempted to register it using my key from version 10. I copied both the key and the email address directly from the email sent to me by the developer at the time of purchase. Upon entering and re-entering the key, I was repeatedly told that it was invalid. When I attempted to use the company support form to contact the developer and explain my problem, my submission was blocked, again due to the claim that my key is invalid. Finally, I logged in at the "reg" page using my email address and attempted to retrieve my key in case they had changed it from the designated code for version ten. At this point, i was told that I needed to purchase the info. I don't believe that I should have to purchase a key when one that is supposed to work is already in my possession. Further, if there is an email contact address on the page either for the developer or for the company marketing the software, I'm unable to locate it.
I have red on this list that the developer is a decent sort, so presumably I'm missing something. With all that in mind, I'm wondering if anyone can offer a suggestion for contacting them in order to resolve my problem. Paying the $8 is no big deal, but I shouldn't have to pay for a key that I have not in fact lost. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
