Interesting, but the file you're referring to is just the latest firmware
for the NLS player, which is currently version 2.1.3. It isn't any special
bookshelf software. Since you said you were already at the latest level of
firmware, I wonder what was going on with your player. I wonder if somehow
the previous upgrade to 2.1.3 didn't fully take but did update the announce
of the FW level. Maybe upgrading again got it to take. Oh well, the bottom
line is that you got it working, and we'll never know what the original
problem was.

Hello Chris,
What I had to download, is a zip folder that's called,
DTPM_latest_software.zip.
Inside that folder, is another file that's called, upgrade.
I never opened the folder to see what kind of files are in it, but I got it
from their firmware web page.
