Yes it works quite well.  Sound is good and the range is quite good.  Also is 
very easy to set up.  At the time I bought it which I think was about four 
years ago it cost about $330 with the modifications and I think the price has 
now gone up by about $45 or so.  
But of course the up side is you get something that works well and isn't junk 
which most of the low priced units are. 
The Ccrane unit for example sounds good but has a hard time clearing a single 
room so in my opinion it is a complete waste of money.
