I have said numerous times on this list that Exact Audio Copy with the current versions of Lame and FLAC deliver the best CD rips in the world. I continue to stand behind these comments as nothing better has emerged. Yes, EAC requires a steep learning curve, but the program is fully accessible as well as the documentation. I was able to even calibrate my CD player according to online directions without sighted assistance.
ffor flawless rips that you will enjoy for decades, EAC cannot be matched. It is still recommended by the major torrent services and the most well regarded file sharers and syndicators use EAC as their tool of choice.
