Don't get me wrong, to keep this on topic, I have the Bose Conpanion 5 Multy
Media Speakers for the computer, but it's virtual surround sound. I love
them, but nothing will ever beat having actual surround sound. So, that's
why I want to hoock up an actual surround sound system on my next PC. Any
one who wants to hear more of my ideas and make suggestions accordingly can
contact me off list since I fear this may get off topic. Wouldn't it? I mean
we'll be talking actual surround sound systems versus those made for
computers.

Indeed

I use HDMI connection between comptuer and amp all the time as my HP
Notebook has HDMI built-in, I get far more out of surround-sound doing
things that way than I would with a $150.00 surround-sound speaker kit
for a computer.
