Oh no! Sorry, my bad. I didn't mean for people to go off list because of me.
That's why when who ever brought it back up again, I invited them to
continue with me off list. See, because I kind of had a funny feeling that
once you got into cable companies, you might be going too deep. Like I said
before, that's why I took my discussion about audio threw HDMI ports off
list with Dain too, because I figured we might go too deep talking about
graffics cards.

Christopher,

You're not missing much. A couple weeks ago there were a few posts to the
list about cable companies and cable programming and I mentioned that those
messages were not appropriate for the PC Audio list. Now, within the past
week or so there's been several messages about home theater and watching
television on a computer and I've just been letting the thread play out to
see where it goes. I'm not sure where exactly to draw the line. A list
member ask for the e-mail addresses of those who would be interested in
continuing the subject off list. So, I think that is about the extent of
the issue.

If only seven members showed interest, that's a very small percentage of the
total list membership, almost five hundred members. Since this thread has
been going on, five list members have left the list.

I think most list members are interested in primarily audio and closely
related subjects.
