I do the same some times. If the subject line aint cool, then the E-mail
goes bie bie. Sometimes I do check them out though because it may indirectly
be about something I want to know about though.

Personally, I just read the subject lines, and only read messages when the
subject gets my interest. So i don't know why people would leave the list
over a thread that doesn't interest them. And, I encourage everyone to keep
subject lines relevant. So if you change the topic, remember to also change
the subject. Many of us don't have time to read everything.
