Hi there,
I hope this is an appropriate question for this list. If not, I apologize. I'm looking for two pieces of software that can help me. I am totally blind and use a PC computer with the JAWS screen reader. First, I'm looking for some kind of free sequencing software that can help me manipulate Midi files. What I need to do with some of these files that are being sent to me is to loop them while practicing, change the tempo, and replay them if necessary. Someone recommended QWS (Quick Windows Sequencer) but I can't figure it out for anything. Second, I wonder if there's a similar program that can do the same with mp3's. Mainly for that one, it would be nice to change tempos and even keys. For instance, the group with whom I play made some recordings of songs for me to practice. Now they've changed those songs to a different key, but rather than ask them to record them again in the new keys, it would be nice to find a software package that could do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jim To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
