Vicky,
I think it would depend on what program was used to create the documents and what you wanted to do with the documents on each platform. From what I understand, MS Office doesn't work on the Mac, but there are programs that can read documents created by MS Word. What I'm not sure about is whether these programs can modify documents and retain all of the formatting.

The one thing I haven't heard when listening to the many demonstrations of the Mac is someone doing office work, i.e., performing complex tasks like mail merge, creating and navigating tables and using styles in formatting documents.

The only problem I can see with music is that you might need to do some format conversion if some formats are not directly supported.

Music, which I think would work, since both Windows and Mac would be using iTunes. The other I would like to be able to shair between them would be documents, which I am not at all sure can be done.
What do you think?

Many thanks! Vicky
