Only my opinion of course, if the headset's lasted that long then you've managed to get very good value for money.
Someone on Twitter was going on about needing software to control them and that software wasn't accessible. All I can say is this is the first time I've heard of that, software never got a mention in the review, in the brochure for the headset etc so I suggest that the Tweeter may have been referring to another set of Plantronics Audio, I know the Plantronics Audio 478 headset I have - which is a USB headset - has software to configure the control panel on the cord but that's perfectly accessible under Windows.
