The whole point of buying a bookedge scanner is to get a good scan of one page, not to try to scan 2 pages of a book at once. If you want the extra accuracy that a bookedge can provide, the 3800 is fine for most applications. Scanning two pages at once is hard on the shoulders, arms and the book.
