Don, I could use the help, I will email you my Sunsolve account and phone no. in a separate email.
I was not able to get access to Sun patches via pca (wget). I have been able to use Sunsolve via a web browser and download patches, so I know my account works. It just doesn't work with wget access. I have made an attempt to connect with pca (wget) with my account just as it is on 10/7, so it has been more than 48 hrs. You mentioned "Members Support Center", I don't know what that is. When running pca in verbose mode (-v) I get an error "401 Unathorized". ex: Trying https://sunsolve.sun.com/ (1/1) /usr/sfw/bin/wget "https://sunsolve.sun.com/pdownload.do?target=119254-70&method=h" --ca-certificate=/home/home61/wbearle/pca --header="Authorization: Basic YmlsbEBiaWxsZWFybGUuY29tOnVic3BlYWs=" -O /tmp/TD-patchcluster-Sol-10/./119254-70.tmp --08:11:48-- https://sunsolve.sun.com/pdownload.do?target=119254-70&method=h => `/tmp/TD-patchcluster-Sol-10/./119254-70.tmp' Resolving sunsolve.sun.com... 192.18.108.40 Connecting to sunsolve.sun.com|192.18.108.40|:443... connected. The error that you are seeing is usually due to an incorrect username/password combination. You can obviously verify this quite quickly by logging into SunSolve with the username/password via a web browser. The other alternative is that it may be related to wget access issues due to a change of contract, which should be resolved within 48 hours (or 48 hours after you first try a wget patch download if you are registered in the Members Support Center). If you are still experiencing problems, let me know and I'll see if I can help. Best, -Don Earle, William B - SSD wrote: > Martin, > > No curl on these systems.
