If so, >what? I've had the machine for a few months and it seems to be running okay. While the machine has a ROM slot, the ROM is actually soldered to the motherboard. There are four chips about 1.1" X .5" with 44 pins each, 22 pins on each long side. They are labeled 341S0106 - 341S0109 or 341S0168 - 341S0171 depending on whether your ROM revision (see Apple System Profiler) is $77D.28F1 or $77D.28F2 respectively. The ROM slot can be used to update the ROM with newer ROM which replaces the old ROM, but Apple never released any such updates. If one connects pin 116 in the ROM slot to Vcc (5V supply) the soldered down ROM is disabled, so it's fairly easy to build a little module that will disable the soldered ROM and replace it. Irrelevant but interesting, the ROM from the Kansas machines will work in the 7200. I've built three ROM modules with Kansas ROM installed and they boot the 7200 up just fine.
