Thanks Charles -

        Putting the card in PCI Slot D2 instead of A1 increased the performance and
response from hard drive over 50%. I now get no stuttering  when playing MP3
files. I was also able to launch Photoshop while and MP3 was playing and it
didn't skip. The thing that baffled me about this before was the fact that
while the MP3s skipped on the 9500, they didn't skip once when I played the
MP3s on my PC over the network. Strange.... But it's fixed.
