If you have multiple accounts, Eudora is the way to go. There is a version for Classic and OS X. You can download it, try it in sponsored mode (and have it leave your email on your remote host) to see if you really like it. If you do you can pay to have the ads suppressed or run it in lite mode.

Is there a freeware or low-cost e-mail client I can replace Outlook Express
with? I can't stand this program. It seems to take forever to pull a message
into the preview pane, and I have a highspeed connection. I need a client
that can handle multiple accounts. I'm using a 9600 with a G3 card.

 do you have any Microsoft software installed? I had similar problems, and
 worse, while having Microsoft Works 3.0 and Internet explorer 4.5/5.1
 installed on my PowerMac 7300/180, which is also a 604e.
