FPM or EDO, all accessed as though they were FPM (i.e., EDO mode is not
invoked): 7xxx, 8xxx and 9xxx machines, except as otherwise noted.

Is there any way to tell if ram is EDO or FPM by looking at it or with ASP?
I need to cannibalize ram from some 7XXXs and install in a 5400. Will it hurt the 5400 if I install unidentified FPM ram in it to see if it works?
