Mach 5s which are 300 or faster should be left alone.

A MaxPowr works fine in either a Mach 5 or a non-Mach 5. The 4-position 
DIP switch sets the appropriate bus type.

Sonnet has always had its little problems, which is why I avoid their 
products.
