someone asked 'why do the math? just use OWC's calculator". umm, i did
that. but there's a range of choices and i thought choosing depended on
you own machine's native bus speed.
no?
in the same vein, can i use the same RAM sticks i bought for my 6360 as
extra RAM in this 8500?
here's some math: if my apple menu says this 8500 has 208MB of RAM in
it, what is the likely breakdown of sticks and their capacities in my
slots? [have not yet gotten to jacking open the famous aggravating
case]. how many RAM slots does the 8500 have insisde it? what's the max
RAM i can put in each slot? interleaving, or no? FPM or EDO, or does it
matter?
[yeah, i know, this is old stuff we've discussed endlessly, but since
I've just joined the ranks of the 8500 brigade, humor me, wouldja?]
